About us:
In May 2023, Champloo Corporation was born as an event promotion company. Our mission is to highlight alternative cultures and the rich local culture of Japan, especially Tokyo and Okinawa where our premises are located, and share them with a wide audience.
Since 2024, we have broadened our scope to become a service provider (incoming agency) in the field of tourism. Our services include help in organizing tailor-made holidays, managing accommodation and transport, guided tours, outdoor activities and discovering local gastronomy. We are also at your disposal for any English- or French-speaking guide requirements in Okinawa and the rest of Japan.
Our core business is tourism and event creation. We are passionate about Japanese history and culture in all its diversity, music, arts, crafts and local cuisine. Our aim is to offer unique and authentic experiences at the heart of Japanese life and culture.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you have projects or ideas to share!

The meaning of the word "Champloo
In Okinawa, the word "champloo" means "mixed".
It refers to a well-known dish of stir-fried vegetables.
It can also mean a blend of cultures, with Okinawan culture influenced by elements from mainland Japan, China, the USA and Southeast Asia.
It derives from the Malay and Indonesian word "campur", meaning "mixture".
The company's name was chosen to express our desire to present the different facets of Japan, as well as to promote all kinds of cultures and arts through our promotional and event organization activities.

Through our activities, we aim to showcase the richness and diversity of Japan, starting with Tokyo and the surrounding region, as well as Okinawa Prefecture.
